Tekpower is one of the cheaper multimeter manufacturers. Based in China, they produce a sizable range of test meters, environmental test equipment and power supply units. Most of their equipment is affordable and aimed at hobbyists, although they also make devices that the professionals can work with.

This auto-ranging data-logger is one of the best selling Tekpower multimeters, for good reason. TP9605BT
The TP9605BT goes one better than the TP4000ZC. It is also a real multimeter with all relevant ranges, and is a data logging device that comes with Bluetooth connectivity. Company Info
Tekpower designs and manufactures these multimeters, power supplies and other equipment at their plants in Dongguan and Shenzhen. Some of their products are designed at their facility in California, but they are assembled in China to keep costs down. Along with their own products, they are also an OEM for Sinometer and Mastech and you might see some of their meters rebadged through these companies.
Products
Most products are good for occasional use for both electrical and electronic work. While the quality of their products is never going to complete with Fluke or Agilent – both high-end brands with top facilities in the US – they are nevertheless fairly sturdy and perform well enough.
Multimeters
Tekpower multimeters offer a wide range of both digital and analog DMMs, including True RMS devices, smart test meters and even oscilloscopes. Prices range from a $6 pocket DMM up to a $1000 programmable high accuracy device.

Other Test Equipment
Tekpower also makes digital and analog amp clamp meters, including capacities up to 600A. In addition are standalone insulation testers, battery testers, cable testers and non-contact voltage testers, as well as environmental instruments such as sound level meters, anemometers, thermal meters and lux (light) meters.
They also churn out devices for the automotive repair industry, electronic measuring tape, soldering irons, tachometers and a whole host of power supplies – from linear and handheld power supplies to analog, digital, switching and programmable.
