Company Background
The company started out in 1989-1990, with the founder tinkering around with digital multimeters in his garage. The goal was to increase the usage of a standard DMM via the addition of expandable heads.
Fieldpiece is a sizeable outfit today with warehouses, offices and distributors around the world. There are setups in the UK and Europe, in Canada and in Australia. The Fieldpiece brand has gone on to develop high quality HVACR test and monitoring equipment and it helps that many of the company’s staff are HVAC technicians.
Products
Their stick multimeters are a popular sell and they make a trio of those; seen above. There is also a classic multimeter that is good for bench work. Fieldpiece also do a range of clamp meters with multimeter ability, as well as a megohm meter. The move toward wireless-enabled tools using Job link® technology has been a big plus for engineers, enabling communications with systems while in one place.
